What's an Idaho sky
doing in Wyoming?

Covered by a cauliflower canopy like antelope under glass,
Swimming in a sea of sagebrush: waves six feet high,
People and ants dragging potato bins a thousand times their weight,
To every season under heaven, there is purpose and cycle and birth.

Covered by a cauliflower canopy while prairie dogs smell the sun,
Swimming in an ocean of roiling hills: cheek grass six inches high,
People and phat-butted mule deer dodging each other a thousand times a day,
In spite of every season under heaven, there’s an Idaho sky in Wyoming.
