Sorry about this, but at least I'm not counting the 1000 page "BONE" graphic novel or the latest collection of two years of Peanuts cartoons. I don't want to reveal the name and author of any poker book I read.
This one was long and awful. There was three pieces of advice. One was "read this OTHER book by a different author" the second was "cheat" and the third was "if you are out of the hand, find where the money is kept and steal it." There were two or three interesting anecdotes. The rest of it was padding, padding, padding. Rationalizations of why cheating isn't bad, really dull anecdotes, blah blah blah blah blah.
I expected a funny book with some descriptions of pranks you could play at a poker table. |
