An amazingly fast read (one day); pretty fluffy but interesting.
I really appreciate the perspective it gives on Botswana and the culture there.
(what a cheating reviewer I am):
The Seattle Times says "McCall Smith has an easy command of storytelling and a gift for describing dusty, sun-baked Botswana. His books...are also gentle but incisive commentaries on Africa, men and women, and life in general...not to be missed."
I think they covered it well. |
