This is yet another book on Reiki. I expect to be reporting on several of these throughout the year.
This book was a collaborative effort by three top Reiki masters in the field: Walter Lubeck, Frank Arjava Petter, and William Lee Rand.
It's written much more for traditional Reiki practitioners, and probably wouldn't make much sense to somebody who was just starting out in Reiki. Furthermore, it would probably annoy people who were trained in a more New Age-y form of Reiki.
It has some techniques, and goes into Reiki spirituality much more than any other Reiki book I've read so far. It also devotes a chapter to what the student should expect from a Reiki class, and in the same vein, what should be the bare minimum for a teacher to pass on to the students.
This will be a good addition to my Reiki book collection. |
