Another one of those way long out of print, obscure, beat up science-fiction paperbacks from the Sixties I keep reading. If you manage to find a copy of this, I'll give you a nickel.
It's a short story anthology, early work from a favorite writer of mine. His style is still gelling here, but many of the usual Tom Disch elements are here: disgust for the military, distain for shallow women, an extremely dark sense of humor, pessimism for humanity in general, and a narrative tone that reminds me of a particularly perverse fairy tale. He's done much better stuff, but it was an interesting peek into his formative years. |

I love the internet. Check this out:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-listing/0425020444/ref=dp_olp_2//102-7159309-4860952?condition=all
If I understand this correctly, the title is actually this:
Hun and Two H Bomb
and there are 7 available used via an Amazon search. I think you owe me $0.35, but I'll let you keep it.
Do you have something specific you really like by this author? Your description of his style makes me think I should try something by him at some point, but as I've never heard of him before, I'm not sure where to start.
