Hooray, a new year and my first reported book. (And I'm not surprised to see that it's only January 9th, and already Malabar has 7 books listed.)

I don't really have much of a review for this one - it was a fairly bland story about a dysfunctional family. I finished it 3 or 4 days ago and have already forgotten most of what it was about.

This is the first book I've read by this author. I might read more, but I'm not sure. I know she wrote "The Accidental Tourist", and I remember seeing the movie, and this book has the same "feel" - sort of detached and not all that memorable.

Hooray for the library and the opportunity to check out new authors without adding to my collection.
