I read this book on a recommendation for Bea - thanks Bea!

Because of school starting up I never really got a change to get into this book, but every time I would pick it up, I'd love what I read. I read the last 100 pages or so this weekend and I was amazed and impressed at how all of the seemingly disjointed stories all come together at the end. As I was reading I thought some things were just thrown in to be funny, but they were all carefully planned and well thought out.

Great book.

Just FYI, the author of this book is John Irving. I looked it up to update the index pages.

I loved the hell out of this book. And then, right after I read it, all sorts of weird coincidences happened to me. So a book about "nothing is coincidence, it's all Planned" is read, and then... bammo.

Very weird.

I'M GLAD YOU LIKED THIS BOOK.

yah... uppercase text... not my favorite part...

I just saw that the movie Simon Birch is "based on" this book... has anyone seen it and does the kid's voice sound the way it "should"?
