I read this book on a recommendation for Bea - thanks Bea!
Because of school starting up I never really got a change to get into this book, but every time I would pick it up, I'd love what I read. I read the last 100 pages or so this weekend and I was amazed and impressed at how all of the seemingly disjointed stories all come together at the end. As I was reading I thought some things were just thrown in to be funny, but they were all carefully planned and well thought out.
Great book.

| Just FYI, the author of this book is John Irving. I looked it up to update the index pages. |

I loved the hell out of this book. And then, right after I read it, all sorts of weird coincidences happened to me. So a book about "nothing is coincidence, it's all Planned" is read, and then... bammo.
Very weird.
I'M GLAD YOU LIKED THIS BOOK. |

yah... uppercase text... not my favorite part...
I just saw that the movie Simon Birch is "based on" this book... has anyone seen it and does the kid's voice sound the way it "should"? |
