Jeff prodded me into getting this, and I'm glad he did. This is the last of the six Tim Corrigan books.

I wasn't looking forward to reading this, but it turned out to be OK. Two smart young kids are released on a technicality from prison after committing a murder. Tim is assigned to guard them in a safe penthouse on the roof of a tall building. Naturally one of them gets killed. A Buck Rogers style jetpack is found on the roof of an adjacent building. I'm glad the writer at least made an effort; previous books in this series have been phoned in.

Tolerable.

Only most of the "juvenile" books and a couple of oddities still to go, right Ed? Smile
