Maybe I'm becoming a snob but I'm getting tired of these "non Ellery" Ellery Queen books. Tim Corrigan, the one-eyed cop, solves a political assasination.
The characters and plot are cardboard cutouts. Tim is tall, dark and handsome. All the politicians are sleazy. Bad guys are, well...bad people. All women are buxom and beautiful. And everyone smokes and drinks constantly.
There's only one of these Tim Corrigan books left to read. Amazon has "Which Way To Die?" for $1.25. I have to decide whether it's worth it or not...

Shouldn't that be spelled "Tm Corrigan" or "Tim Corrgan"? |

Doug, it's been too long since we've hung out. It took me several minutes to get it.
You are a very silly man. |

That's refreshing, Ed. As you know, I was surprised by the books you lent me because Ellery didn't feature in all of them.

Sound positively stereotypical.
