This is one of those perfect back of the toilet books. The stories were like eating Pringles--I couldn't stop reading them, although they were so short, they felt somewhat unsatisfying. At least they didn't make me feel ill, like Pringles do.
Not the shortest (most were 1-4 pages long) was this story by E. Michael Blake, titled "Science Fiction For Telepaths."
