It's getting hard to find the remaining Ellery Queen books, but I got this one used off the net. Unfortunately, it's just awful. The plot is boring and I couldn't keep the characters straight. Ellery doesn't even appear until halfway through the book and by then I was practically comatose.
I don't know how much further I'll take this EQ endeavor.

| I know this is a little off topic, but I saw the movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang recently and it reminded me of your reviews of the EQ books. There was even a Challenge to the Viewers near the end. I thought it was very funny, and maybe you would enjoy it. |

I just reread my review and realized it didn't say much and wasn't very helpful.
Ellery goes to Hollywood and runs across a murder where anybody could have done it. He poses as "Hilary King," a local reporter, to get closer to the situation. |
