| This memoir is a series of stories about Haven's experiences growing up. She has a great perspective on her life that is funny and fun to read. The last chapter was a brilliant end to the series of stories.... there were tears, but that could just be me. Another book that you can pick up and not be lost. The chapters are quick reads and are light enough for before bed. |

| When did she live? Is this a modern person or an old person looking back? |

"When Haven Kimmel was born in 1965, Moreland, Indiana, was a sleepy little hamlet of three hundred people. Nicked named 'Zippy' for the way she would bolt around the house, this small girl was possessed of big eyes and even bigger ears. In this witty and lovingly told memoir, Kimmel takes readers back to a time when small-town America was caught in the amber of the innocent post-war period - people helped their neighbors, went to church on Sundays and kept barnyard animals in their backyards....... "
I think you could write a similar memoir with the tales you tell... |
