I found this book at a garage sale - one of the $0.50 books that you pick up because it's so cheap.
It's a love story, and a detective story. There's some interesting writing devices used in the book.
The core story isn't as original as you might think, but it's a good read nonetheless. I'm not a huge fan of love stories, but I don't mind if they're realistic and well-written.
I think part of the reason I finished it, is it was easily within reach when I was sick and needed something to read.
I'm not writing anything about the plot, because it's fun to figure it out as you read. Except.. now that I re-read the back cover description, I see that one of the major mystery plot points is given away. Grr.
I think this will be one I pass on to the local library. |
