This is a re-read for me. It's amazing how the really thick books all seem to become my comfort reading when I'm sick.
Anyway, this is a fun book to re-read, because knowing it works out makes it entertaining to pick out the different gods as you go through..... and many of the various settings have more meaning when you first re-read about them.
Somewhere in one of the other years is my prior review for this book - I'll dig it up if you insist.
(Somewhere on my re-read list this year is "Good Omens", I think.. it's been a while for that one, and it's a fun read too.) |

Hey, you'd better review that one! I had no idea Gaiman wrote a book about Adams, and I want to hear about it - and quite possibly read it myself!
Thanks in advance! |

Heehee... this will make Gaiman the top-reviewed author (and it's not even February yet).
Maybe we can start a not-so-subtle propaganda campaign in the other reviews... something like "hey - that was a great book, and it reminds me of *ahem* this bit from *ahem* this Neil Gaiman book, "book name here".
I'm sure there's more worthwhile authors to have as top reads, but after following his blog, I think it would amuse him too. |

Thank you - and yeah, I love them too. Sometimes it's the only way I can figure out which number I'm on. |

Are you kidding? That's the only way I know which number I'm on!
I haven't been around here in a few days, and when I looked over the reviews I hadn't read I was thinking "Wow, Neil Gaiman sure is a popular author this year!" |

Neil seems to be a pretty popular author every year.
At least I find myself reading or re-reading at least one of his books each year. _________________ I was born to speak all mirth and no matter. |
