I have a box of miscellaneous Agatha Christie books that are extras from my Ellery Queen collection of a few years ago. Sometimes when I take a trip I grab one at random, like this one.
I keep waiting to find an Agatha Christie book that I like. I guess I’m going to have to keep waiting. I don’t think she writes well; she must have been half-asleep while writing this one because I had a lot of trouble staying awake while reading it. And Hercule Poirot must be one of the most annoying creations in all of literature. I kept hoping that someone would murder him.
