| A non-fiction work remembering Sebold's rape, which occurred on the last day of her freshman year of college, and the investigation of her rapist, which extended through her second year of college. graphic and emotional, Sebold has a very detached, descriptive, gritty way of recounting the physical experiences she had - the glass shards grinding into her back as she was forced against the gravel-paved path she was raped on...etc. if you have a weak stomach, don't read this book. |
